Human beings have looked much the same to the naked eye for a hundred thousand years, underneath the grooming and fashions. But over the course of a few decades, their representations have changed strikingly even in realistic portrayals. Muse on the meaning of evolution of Myanmar images of women in the last hundred years at this exhibition, which features portraits, illustrations, book covers, advertisements, everything we could find with interesting images of women painted by artists in Myanmar.
